Boards & Commissions

For Local Residents

Local Residents are encouraged to serve on one of the committees or commissions listed.

Volunteering for a local board or commission is an excellent way to get connected to Selah and serve your community. Applications can be found at Selah City Hall or by downloading the Application for Appointment (PDF). The Mayor, City Administrator and Department Head will consider applications to fill board and commission vacancies. Applicants are required to attend a meeting of the board or commission they have applied for and participate in an meeting regarding their applications.

Applications for boards and commissions that currently have no vacancies will be held for a period of one (1) calendar year from the date the application is submitted. If a position becomes vacant, the applicant will be contacted to determine if he or she would like their application processed for consideration.
