Community Services

Like our Mission Statement states, "The Mission of the Selah Police Department is to coordinate and form partnerships within the community. To preserve the public peace, protect persons and property, to protect the rights of all persons. Prevent crime and provide assistance to all citizens. Partnerships within the community are Very Important to being able to fulfill that mission. The programs under community services are: Citizens' Academy, National Night-Out Against Crime, Volunteers In Police Services (V.I.P.S.) - which includes Citizens Patrol, Reserve Police Unit, and the Chaplaincy Program. In 2015, we hired Missy Maki as the Selah Police Department's Community Service Specialist

    Police officers are on shift 24/7/365. There is a call box on the outside front of the building.
