Department of Licensing Suspension, Collection Letters, and License Holds

The Court Clerk cannot view your license status/letter(s). The Department of Licensing letters will include the Selah citation (“violation”) number and suspension deadline. NOTE: DOL suspension deadline is set for approximately 70 days from violation date while the Court’s deadline is 60 days for collections, meaning collections will occur before license suspension.

The Department of Licensing/letters will always direct you to the Court Clerk:

PLEASE FIRST confirm your account with AllianceOne Collections (800) 456-8838 as they have more staff available to assist you. There you may request your balance, make payments and payment arrangements, and request your receipt through AllianceOne. The Court Clerk will never have your updated balance or AllianceOne account number.

You MUST REQUEST a receipt from AllianceOne and provide it to the Court Clerk so the Court Clerk can remove the license hold the fastest. Otherwise, the hold removal process can take up to two (2) months (refer to your suspension deadline date). AllianceOne reference or authentication numbers CANNOT be used by the Court Clerk to remove license holds.

The Court Clerk will respond to emailed receipt submissions that the hold(s) has been removed (“adjudicated”). Please allow a few business days for Department of Licensing to receive the update, then you may contact Department of Licensing (509) 575-2775 or online customercase@dol.wa.gov for confirmation or further instructions.

Failure to maintain your payment plan with AllianceOne may result in secondary/additional license holds.

If you do not have an account with AllianceOne, you may email the Court Clerk who may be able to accept payment directly (there are sometimes technology/processing delays between the Court and AllianceOne).

Failure to receive mailed DOL/collections notices is not grounds for reversal or modification – once the Court has made good faith effort to notify you using your most recent address on file and the notice has left the Court's possession, the Court cannot extend limited resources to continually attempt to contact you.

Please see SCAM ALERTS section of the Court’s website.
